On our travels we have run into a lot of different kinds of campers. One theme runs through them all. They all love their gadgets! Let’s focus on one of those gadgets, the iPhone. We have seen apps from a compass, a flashlight, some camping checklists, a mosquito replant to a knot tying guide. Very useful indeed for your upcoming camping trips. There is also a very handy camping iPhone App that is available that will help you plan and better connect with those on your trip. One of the main features and benefit of the app is the ability to leave information from your trip by putting a pin in the map and also seeing and learning from what others have found, this helps save you time and money! We will give you 2 quick highlights of this application.

1. We have all had it happen before when planning a trip where in the weeks and months leading up to the trip there arises the confusion of who has what? Who is bringing which camping chairs, who is in charge of the firewood and who is getting the ice! This camping iPhone app definitely solves that. Pan down to where you are heading or locate where you are with the GPS and just select through the pins and see what people are saying. We bet that will save you some hours looking for the inside scoop. Knowing the right spot to go to, who to see and talk to can be a huge money saver as well.
