Just today, Verizon Wireless released to the press on there plans to buy out Alltel. Verizon offered 5.9 million dollars to Alltel. This was applauded by investors and will create a better range of choices for Alltel costumers. But some people worry that Alltel’s current coverage to rural areas will be lost.
