An activist investor, Carl Icanh, advised Yahoo, in a letter he sent today, to offer to sell Microsoft their company for $49.5 billion (or $34 per share.)

   Microsoft’s last offer to buy Yahoo was $47.5 billion, or $33 a share, which Yahoo put into long consideration, later declining. Icanh has long been trying to urge  Yahoo to sell over to Microsoft, but no word back yet from Yahoo about this letter from Icanh.
