Coffee and doughnuts go hand-in-hand, so if you are a lover of either of the two, then you need to check out the new iPhone app called Dunkin’ Run. This is taking true doughnut love and coffee drinking to the next level, which is a must-have for tech loving coffee addicts. That sounds like so many people that I know… As if there aren’t already enough iPhone apps to cater to meet all of your needs, there is one more for those who must have their morning fix of Java.

If you download the iPhone app Dunkin’ Run, then you can actually alert your friends whenever you are planning to go to Dunkin’ Donuts. From that point, your friends can get the alert, and then they can log on to www.dunkinrun.com to put in their own orders, which will then go back to your iPhone. This is perfect if you are on the way to work or to a friend’s house because it will get everyone’s information to make sure that you can grab their exact doughnut and coffee combo to their specifications. When else have you been able to do such a task like this in a minimal amount of time? This means that none of your friends at school or work are going to miss out on you forgetting to grab than a piping hot cup of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, or their bear claw for that matter.

Basically, it will work like this. If you are wanting to hit Dunkin’ Doughnuts at 8 AM on your way to work, then you can make sure that two of your friends in the office are notified through their e-mail when you are leaving your house. They can then link back to the website with an easy prompt, and they can add their own orders to yours, so that you are doing the legwork for them. So if your friend wants to make sure that you grab her a medium coffee with Splenda and one glazed doughnut, then you will have that on your list. By the time that you are getting ready to drive into Dunkin’ Donuts, then you will have the orders from your friends sent right back to you, so that you place your full order when you get there. You do have to make sure that you register online for your own account to have the application working for you, which does take some time, but this is a great way to kill many birds with one stone when you are making a coffee run on your way to work.

You can even put all of your coworkers or friends on your buddy list, and it will help you out with a Dunkin’ Donuts store finder to save you time. I, for one, am always on board with any kind of technological advances that will help me get to my coffee quicker. Hopefully, your friends that are benefiting from this application will also return the favor for you and pick you up a cup of Joe from time to time!
