Media blast: X360A & PS3T announce the first of their Games Stage line-up for this month’s London Comic Con.
Ahead of their Games Stage show at this month’s London Comic Con, Xbox360Achievements.org (X360A) and PS3Trophies.org (PS3T) today announced that Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, and voice actors Mark Meer (Commander Shepard) and Camilla Luddington (Lara Croft) will be headlining their live stage show.
Taking place this year between May 24th and May 26th at the Excel Centre in London, the MCM Expo – Europe’s equivalent to the San Diego Comic-Con – last year welcomed over 70,000 people through its doors, with the Games Stage live stream reaching another 40,000 more people on top of that.
“We’re very excited to welcome Ubisoft back to the Games Stage again this year after last year’s successful Assassin’s Creed III demos,” said Dan Webb, Editor-in-Chief of X360A and PS3T. “We’ve got some cool stuff lined up with Splinter Cell Blacklist and we’re excited to give fans a chance to see the game before its August release.”
Mark Meer, who rose to fame with his performance as Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect trilogy, and Camilla Luddington, the new Lara Croft who has appeared in True Blood, Grey’s Anatomy and Californication, will also join X360A and PS3T on stage for some fun and games at the show.
“Mark has essentially become a household name in video game circles since his stunning performance as Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect trilogy, while Camilla did a stunning job with Lara in the new reboot,” said Webb. “It’s a privilege and an honour to welcome them both onto our stage at the end of the month. At least now, we might be able to find out which store really was Shepard’s favourite on the Citadel!”
X360A and PS3T will also welcome Capcom back onto the Games Stage, with Capcom Producer, Mat Hart, on hand show to off their latest new IP, Remember Me.
But wait, that’s not it! Lost Planet 3 and Resident Evil: Revelations will also make an appearance, as will Metro: Last Light, with 4A Games’ Huw Beynon taking to the stage to show off the game and field questions from the audience.
Look out for more exciting announcements in the coming weeks.
