Now the Apple iPod is probably the single most popular brand for music loving people in the world and has become more than a product but a status symbol as well as people who don’t own an iPod are considered to be “un cool”

But before the iPod came, the leader in the portable music technology was definitely Sony with its Walkman that was a great hit in the early 1980′s and 90′s. The Japanese giant has now a line of music listening gadgets that will completely take the iPod by storm and make Steve Jobs have run for his money. But this doesn’t stop here. Sony’s next target: Apple’s iPad!
