need your help to sort out my confusion which is related to theapple iPad. Before one month I bought this iPad. I want to know that is it possible to read DVD from iPad. I have don’t any idea over this issue. I wonder if you are able to let me know yoursuggestions over this issue related to the iPad. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no way to read DVD directly on iPad. If you want to read the DVD files on iPad, for that you first DVD files into mpeg4 video using the computer. And then transfer these converted files from your computer to iPad using USB interface. Please try to do this procedure to read DVD, and then let me know if it worked for your or not.

According to my information the iPad doesn’t contains the opticaldriver. Because that you are not able to read the DVD over the iPad. The iPad is available in six models that differ according to their connectivity and memory capacity. All these six iPad models doesn’t support optical drive. I hope it will definitely solve your confusion related to the iPad.

The Apple iPad is not designed to read DVD. All of the built-in apps on iPad were designed from the ground up to take advantage of the large Multi-Touch screen and advanced capabilities of iPad. And they work in any orientation. So you can do things with these apps that you can’t do on any other device. With a split-screen view and expansive onscreen keyboard, it lets you see and touch your email in ways you never could before.

I don’t think that you will get any solution to read DVD on the Apple iPad. The iPad is basically not integrated with any optical driver int he way to read DVD. I don’t know if iPad support any optical driver or not. I have not tried this type of experiment. Why don’t you use computer for the same purpose?. I think using computer to read DVD is the best way than iPad.
