Control Your SLR Camera With This App
If you own both a Nikon digital SLR camera and an iPhone then this is the application for you. blueSLR, combines a Bluetooth accessory (dongle) that plugs into your SLR and an app you run on your iPhone 3G+, iPod Touch 2nd generation+ or iPad, enables you to remotely control your camera’s shutter from up to 300 feet away. You can also manually adjust focus and exposure length, along with the ability to tag photographs with GPS informations.
Reports say blueSLR only supports 11 models of Nikon’s SLR cameras but that Canon support is in the works.
Us amateur photographers, this looks like it could be a pretty nice accessory to have in our camera bag. The app is free but there is a cost for dongle Bluetooth
, I know I’ll be getting it.
iTunes 10.1.1 is released
Today Apple
released iTunes 10.1.1 which addresses a number of performance issues.
The release provides a number of important bug fixes, including
-Issues with music videos may not play on Macs
-iTunes unexpectedly closing when deleting playlist.
One thing to remember is it may or may not be jailbreak safe. I’ll update when known.
