Apple has released iOS 4.1 which is intended for iPhone and iPod Touch. And, what’s the latest on iOS 4.1? The business foreshadowed the arrival of iOS 4.1 at its yearly fall press event and display an overview of the latest features. Well, the download is free via iTunes for iPhone; many upgrades for games, photos, high-definition videos. Now, Apple is using this software update to zap numerous bugs.

Major bugs targeted in this release include a misfiring proximity sensor that could cause accidental hang-ups on a call and diminished audio quality once using Bluetooth accessories along with Nike + iPod fixes. IPhone 3G owners can expect better performance using iOS 4.1. With all the latest features and the bug fixes, you might want to update your iPhone at once. But don’t do that if you like your current jailbreak/unlock. It’s anonymous whether you can jailbreak in the future. We should wait for the iPhone Dev Team to come to the rescue and provide us with a jailbreak and use TinyUmbrella to back up our SHSH blobs.

However, GameCenter was not included in the initial release of the software. It has a social-networking feature that allows iPhone along with iPod Touch users to play games on their devices against friends in real time.

IOS 4.1 is a free update for the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, as well as second-generation iPod touch. The update is available via iTunes when you connect your device to sync.
