The new iPod touch 4th Generation was introduced recently by Apple. The 4th Generation iPod touch has many new features and most certainly improves on the 3rd Generation models.

The new iPod touch is similar in design to the popular Apple iPhone 3G. It is thinner than previous models and has a tapered back. The new model iPod touch also comes with an exterior volume control as well as a built-in speaker, but unfortunately does not come with a built-in microphone, so there is a need to purchase the new Apple headphones that include a microphone on the cord.

Apple has sold more than 250 million iPods since they launched the product in 2003.
